What is an access control system?

An electronic access control system enables you to control who can enter your premises or specific areas within your building. It stops unwanted intruders and also prevents staff from entering areas that they don’t need to be in.

There are many options to choose from, and your entry control may operate via a keycard, fob, biometric scanner, or another type of device. When someone uses their device for access, some systems can record the entry, allowing you to keep track of everyone’s movements.
