Installation Engineer – Fire and security

We are seeking a fire and security engineer. The role will mainly cover Devon but also extend into Cornwall, Somerset, and Dorset.

We are looking for a vibrant, positive and confident individual who can work well on their own or as part of a team and integrate into our successful growing group.

Applicants will ideally have strong experience (3+ years) and must have a proven record in the installation, servicing and repair across various manufacturer’s systems, including but not limited to:

Scantronic, Eaton, Menvier, Galaxy, Texecom intruder alarms
Various CCTV manufacturers (IP and analogue)
Access control/door entry systems
Fire alarms (conventional and addressable)
The role will require delivery of technical support and fault diagnosis to customers via telephone or face-to-face, so the applicant must be articulate and have a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.

What we offer

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications: £28,000 – £34,000 basic, overtime and retainer as part of the call-out rota is paid in addition to basic salary.
22 days holiday + 8 statutory public holidays + birthday off.

Participation in the call-out rota (1 in 5/6 weeks) will be expected once fully inducted.
A company van, mobile telephone, tablet, laptop, power tools, test equipment and uniform will all be provided.
